Extracurricular

AIM Academy offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities and electives.

Sports play a vital role in establishing our school community. At AIM Academy, home of the Knights, we understand the value of school spirit and its positive effect on our staff, students, and parents. As members of the Alabama Christian Athletic Association (ACAA), we offer competitive volleyball, basketball, and track and field to students in 6th - 12th grade.

The music program at AIM is second to none! Under the leadership of our talented music directors, AIM students are given the opportunity to learn an instrument, sing in the choir or ensemble, play in the band, and perform in our annual production and events The emphasis of our music program is that God is the creator of music and that through quality music He may be glorified. Students are given opportunities to minister through their music by being a part of the Friday assembly worship team, and performing at nursing homes, hospitals and more.

Other electives available include Woodworking, Farm to Table, Foreign Language, Life Skills and Business, and any electives offered through Central Alabama’s dual enrollment program. These activities give our students exposure to necessary life skills they won’t receive sitting at a desk in a traditional classroom.
